THE HUB

The Hub at Western Park Village Caravan Park

The Hub is a community led initiative separate from the ownership of the Park and operates independently.

Hub vision           Sustainable community connection and empowered residents.

Hub mission       Creating opportunities for resident-led development and supporting community aspirations.

Hub values           Fairness, collaboration, resident-directed, transparency, honesty, privacy, and action.

 What the Hub does

The Hub aims to improve conditions in the caravan park, increase access to support services for residents to help improve outcomes, increase the resilience and capacity of residents, and advocate for systems change. It connects residents, encourages engagement with the broader community and supports resident-driven initiative

The hub is based in the park and open six days a week. It offers residents free telephone, computer and internet access, coordinated support services, other activities and, importantly, a place to meet. It promotes resident-led action and advocates for housing and social justice.
