Ranui Action Project Working Bee….
Thank you Nga Puna o Waiorea
Junior Students from the Rumaki Unit of Nga Puna o Waiorea – Western Springs College have started a new initiative “Raamanaki” a day to give back and help local community groups and organisations.
Ranui Action Project and the Ranui Community Garden were the lucky recipients of their services.
Twelve junior students, three senior students, and staff member Naomi Cusack came to cut back trees, shrubs, and weeds in the Ranui Action Project carpark and plant herbs in the Ranui Community Garden.
Of these 12 students, 5 of them are local Ranui residents so we have been able to make a connection with them and highlight the services we provide, the awesome work of Ranui 135 and we look forward to seeing them again soon.
